The quantum Revolution

Quantum computing (QC) is a transformative technology promising computational power far beyond the reach of classical computers. However, harnessing the power of QC is extremely challenging from both an engineering and algorithmic point of view and many fundamental challenges remain to be solved before quantum computing becomes a reality. Apart from building a large-scale quantum computer, the lack of quantum algorithms is foreseen to be the main bottleneck for widespread adoption of QC.

Our contribution

The self-exploratory nature of our technology makes it uniquely applicable to address some of the biggest challenges facing the quantum revolution. In collaboration with key actors in the QC field, we will tackle fundamental problems such as:

  • Design of novel quantum algorithms
  • Identification of problems amenable to non-universal QC
  • Design of error-correction schemes
  • Construction of quantum circuits with given functionality
